This past few weeks, the Food and Drug Administration added
more GMO’s to the US food supply when they officially approved the sale of
genetically modified salmon.
Most retailers like Safeway, have already declared that they
have no intention of selling the fish, but consumers say it won’t be long
before it shows up in the supermarkets.
According to Helena Weil, Ph. D., (a vocal opponent of GMO
foods), that’s the end of this week, they will have once again a new debate
about the GMO label.
